All applications are reviewed by volunteers who have full-time jobs. It typically takes at least 7-14 days to process your application (including background checks, reference checks, and virtual home visits). If you haven't heard from a rescue representative after 7 days, please do email us to catch up.

We only adopt locally (NE Florida). If you are located outside of this area, your application will not be processed. If you are denied based on your application/background/reference check, you will likely not hear back from the rescue as we are incredibly busy and all volunteers.
